A scalable advisory environment for Corporate & Investment Banking, implemented across five Corporate Service Hubs in Greece.
Corporate banking increasingly operates through specialized advisory teams, digital financial services, and complex client interactions that require dedicated environments. In this context, the National Bank of Greece developed the Corporate Service Hubs as part of its broader initiative to strengthen the service model of its Corporate & Investment Banking division. The hubs provide environments where corporate and high-wealth clients meet advisory teams in settings aligned with the operational requirements and professional standards of corporate banking.
STIRIXIS Group developed the spatial concept and architectural model for this network of hubs. The design process examined advisory workflows, the integration of digital banking tools, confidentiality requirements, and the operational patterns of corporate banking teams. The objective was to establish a spatial framework that supports financial consultations, structured client interactions, and internal coordination while allowing consistent implementation across different building conditions.
The architectural approach organizes the environment through clear spatial zoning supported by material expression and lighting strategy, while respecting the heritage of the National Bank. High-quality materials, refined furnishings, and curated artworks designed and produced as part of the project’s visual identity establish a composed environment for meetings and consultations. Brass colored separators define areas within the space, providing spatial structure, acoustic comfort, and a sense of security for advisory discussions. Ambient lighting using NatureConnect technology by Signify supports a calm interior atmosphere, complemented by focused lighting within advisory offices. Planting elements introduce a wellness component, while acoustic treatments support privacy during extended client conversations.
The spatial ecosystem includes advisory meeting rooms, private consultation areas, directors’ offices, and collaborative workstations arranged along clear circulation paths. Environmental graphics and integrated artworks contribute to spatial orientation while reinforcing the identity of the hubs. The environment supports advisory activity, digital collaboration, and client meetings within a coherent architectural framework.
Designed as a scalable spatial system, the model has been implemented across five Corporate Service Hubs in Greece, establishing a consistent advisory environment for corporate clients while supporting the operational needs of banking teams.
