ECOSHIFT’s new headquarters reflect a design approach rooted in a deep understanding of the company’s dual character: modern innovation and industrial production as the strategic mobility and energy business of Petros Petropoulos Group. The concept began with a spatial and behavioural analysis of how teams operate, the technical nature of ECOSHIFT’s work, and the adjacency to the 2,500 m² manufacturing facility. Together, they form more than 3,000 m² of integrated workplace and production areas planned as a unified environment.
This strategic alignment guided a design direction that intentionally merges modern workplace logic with the raw, honest features of an industrial environment. Exposed ceilings, visible mechanical systems, and structural lines anchor the industrial base, while clean geometries, curated materiality, and tailored lighting craft a contemporary, forward-looking workspace. A defining layer of the design is the use of NatureConnect by Signify to support visual quality, precision, and focus on engineering-driven tasks. Meeting rooms defined by fabric curtains introduce visual softness without losing the identity of the exposed ceiling. Beyond spatial design, large-scale environmental graphics integrate brand messaging with texture and materiality, reinforcing engineering values while becoming an architectural element within the space. Together, these choices create a balance between the company’s production DNA and its modern work culture.

The workplace unfolds as a flexible environment designed to support a complete daily cycle. Open-plan areas offer spatial clarity and visual connection, while strategically positioned micro-rooms provide moments of acoustic and visual privacy. Lounge zones, a multifunctional café area, and the amphitheatre act as social and learning anchors within the office, supporting knowledge sharing and alignment between engineering, commercial, and service teams connected to production. Materials and transitions were chosen to highlight the contrast between industrial structure and modern refinement, allowing the space to feel both grounded and elevated. Colour-coded elements, directional lighting, and subtle wayfinding tie the environment together, ensuring intuitive movement and a cohesive narrative.
Delivered through strategy and executed with clarity, the new headquarters support ECOSHIFT’s mission to advance urban electrification and energy storage solutions in Greece. STIRIXIS Group provided full strategy, design, supervision, and construction management services, delivering the project turn-key and establishing a workplace designed to reflect the company’s ambition and future growth.
