New office and brand design for A.G. Leventis in Nigeria.

A.G. Leventis assigned to STIRIXIS Group the creation of a new office environment that would reflect the brand positioning, esteem, long history, values, and vision towards the future. The company is the world’s leading manufacturing and distribution corporation in Nigeria and West Africa, providing a wide variety of products and services across several industries.

The project

The challenge was to accommodate the offices in an open plan, avoiding, however, the typical cell format. Another restrictive parameter was the limited supply of materials, yet our team of project management professionals managed to find ways to keep the main design guidelines intact. Regardless, we managed to successfully submit a flawless architectural and powerful brand design.

Our overall design concept was based on an unconventional diagonal line; the selected brand design communicates the client’s contemporary and forward-thinking culture, with the right choice of materials that reflect and respect the local tradition. The colours and overall branding matched together in the same way, aligned with this duality.

The offices in Nigeria building complex are a landmark building owned by the group and was fully renovated to accommodate the newly-introduced need of the company. The results from the renovation indicate the betterment of the employee’s experience, leading to a higher level of employee engagement and satisfaction, leading to better performance, driving the company’s sales higher.

“STIRIXIS Group was assigned by A.G. Leventis Group Plc (Nigeria) the relocation of our HQ, from Iddo to Apapa, Nigeria, and the renovation of an asset of ours in order to accommodate other tenants too. In a stand alone complex of two buildings in a gated secure plot of land, a multitude of uses were asked to be accommodated such as many floors of offices, restaurants, training centers, gym and medical service areas. We chose STIRIXIS Group for its awarded international experience in similar demanding projects and in creating multiuse concepts successfully for different organizations, work models and cultures. We assigned to them after our initial meetings all required services, namely design, design and supervision of the project and they worked closely with our local team to understand our needs and deliver accordingly. STIRIXIS Group delivered indeed a consistent, functional and impressive concept which was implemented under its guidance within the promised time and budget, despite the local challenges such as lack of materials and craftmanship for high level projects. The prestigious award for the project from the International Property Awards came simply as a validation to our feelings and thoughts. We are happy for the assignment to STIRIXIS Group and are looking forward to working with their team again in the future.”
